About Us

Conceived in late 2007 as an initiative of the business development committee of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Clarksville Young Professionals is Chamber affiliate dedicated to the advancement of our community through community service, professional development, and networking opportunities, for emerging community and business leaders ages 21-45. This is not your father’s civic club or your mother’s garden club! We are dedicated to providing a launch pad of ideas, resources, and a united voice from our young professional community through innovative programs, projects, and social events.

Our Mission:To create a platform for Young Professionals to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active and contribute to the economic development and high quality of living in our community.

Provides members with opportunities to enhance their leadership and professional skills, to connect with other current community leaders and to build successful careers and lives in the region.

Community Service - Chair:
Connects Young Professional members to philanthropic and volunteer programs by promoting opportunities for participation, involvement and leadership.

Social & Networking - Chair: Bruce Anderson
Hosts, coordinates and promotes events and activities within the community to connect Young Professionals with one another.

Recruitment & Membership - Chair: Adam Morrison
Identifies and recruits potential Young Professional members and leaders by promoting the benefits of membership

Marketing - Chair: Steve Wilson
Supports the objectives of the other committees and fosters growth of the organization through a combination of marketing, advertising and public relations

How Will Your Sponsorship Be Utilized?
Corporate sponsorship money will help CYP remain a minimal-dues organization. This encourages all young professionals to participate, regardless of their financial situation. As the membership grows, and the need for a greater diversity of professional development and networking opportunities arises, sponsorship money will insure that our members continue to receive quality opportunities for growth as young professionals.
